The Unison Great Lake Taupō Business Awards are held every second year and is back in 2023, and are designed to enhance business performance and celebrate business excellence across the Taupo District.
Delivered by the Taupō Business Chamber, the Business Awards programme sees entrants attend a series of workshops before submitting a comprehensive written application that will then independent professionals. Once the finalists had been selected for each category, these businesses were then visited by the judges, as well as being mystery shopped. The combined scores from these three aspects were used to identify the winners. The scores have allowed the Taupō Business Chamber to identify areas where we need to improve and will help us build our training and events calendar for the future.
