The Taupo Business Chamber First Fifteen group was set up for those in the first 15 years of their careers (could be a career change). The aim is for members to be inspired, create connections, and build their careers.
It's free for Chamber members and their employees to be part of First XV and attend most events.
The main reason for setting up this group was the recognition that for many who have not grown up in Taupo, are new to the region or are simply starting out on a new career path, it can be challenging for young(er) people to make meaningful connections with people in the business community.
The group is run by First Fifteen members (who are also on the Taupo Business Chamber board), and provides a space for like-minded people to make such connections, while also providing opportunities to help members advance themselves both professionally and personally, all with a view towards long-term success here in Taupo.
